When I check Ancestry's Idaho records, I don't see it there. I'm not sure why. You should probably get both the death and marriage records to see if they hold any further clues. One thing I found was from the April 9, 1923 Seattle Daily Times: a final decree was signed, granting a divorce to Emma Willis from James C. Willis. The Aug. 27, 1922 edition says the complaint was filed yesterday in Superior Court. If this is your couple, there may be additional genealogical info in the divorce papers.
