I think his parents are Katheirne GEORGE (mother) and John P KELCHEN (father), but I can't find any diffinitive proof of this. His paternal ancesters may have had the surname KLASSEN, or surnames that are similar to it. Either way, I can't find out much more than that, other than Katheirne and John probably immigrated to the USA from Germany, and that they were born in 1843 and 1837, respectively.
