I just LOVE when the children listed for a couple are born AFTER one or both parents' reported death years !! I've been looking at some Ancestry trees today at an ancestor of mine in hopes of picking up a clue or two to help me try and get back another generation on one of my female ancestors c. 1700's. The couple I'm looking at had 6 children...all named in the man's will. But many of the trees at Ancestry have more children listed with some of those born in years after the couple had died & others belonging to other families of the same surname that also lived in the area. Ditto for those little flashing hint leaves. Nice feature but only IF the people first check out the information to be certain it is for their specific person before merging it. Trees at Ancestry just like the Member supplied information at Family Search, should be taken with a large grain of salt unless they are sourced to primary source information or the best existing/surviving records/information available.
