No, I haven't had much luck in locating exactly where/when my ancestor Samuel Allison was born in KY. I'm fairly certain he was born in 1811, based on census records, but I haven't been able to confirm his birthplace (several people list Bracken or Christian counties, but I haven't found any hard evidence. Some family members remember my grandfather referring to his great grandfather as Isaac, which would be Samuel's father, so I'm hoping to find a connection there. These seem to be fairly common names, though. If you have any ideas that might help, I'd be very appreciative!!! Thanks!
