Based on your info from the 1910 Census where you said Floyd was living with Crease, I looked on the previous page and there was a "Bud" Fry who was married to Ellen. What peaked my interest is that Bud said that his parents were born in Virginia, just like Floyd. Bud was born abt 1880 so I suspected that they were brothers. Turns out that Bud married Ella Hyatt, a sister to Crease perhaps? Bud and Ella/Ellen were married 18 Mar 1899 in Washington Co, TN. (familysearch.org) I kept following the brother theory that I had and found out that Bud's wife Margaret Ella Frye died in 1941 (familysearch.org) in Johnson city, washinton co, TN, she is married, husband is Boyd Frye. I then looked for Bud or (Boyd as he is sometimes called) and he died 1954 in Piney Flats, Sullivan TN. (familysearch.org) Parents are listed as John P. Frye and Sarah Hall. Place of Birth: Wythe Co., VA. He was 75 yrs old making him born abt 1880 (another census source lists his birth Mar 1879.) I then headed to the 1880 census where I found John Fry and Sarah Fry with a 3 month old baby boy named Boyd living in Wythe Co, Va. but no Floyd because he is born abt 1883. (familysearch.org) I then headed to the 1900 Census to find a John P. Frey and Sarah Frey (by this time Boyd is married) living in Washington CO, TN (where Boyd got married) with a Loyd W. Frey b. Sep 1882 Virginia. (familysearch.org) I know that I didn't find Boyd and Loyd together but these men have to be brothers. all the dates and places line up and I bet that Crease and Margaret Ellen Hyatt are sisters if I did do more digging. I do think that Crease Fry did get divorced, probably between 1918 and 1920. Her last son, Junior was born 23 Mar 1918 and on the 1920 Census and 1930 Census she states that she is divorced. The Tennessee State Library and Archives has records available for divorces for that timeframe. You just have to email or contact them. http://www.tennessee.gov/tsla/history/mailcnty.htm#Marriages If you need help finding these censuses and death certificates, let me know. Good luck!
