In the parish records it has John as a widow, but i cannot find a marriage for him before this. Please could anyone tell me where i could look to find this. I am also trying to find out about Sarah's father Edmund Joseph Leaver, he was born in abt 1791 in Kent and died in 1851, he was married to Sarah Howland. I cannot find out who his parents were, i have a feeling that they did not come from Kent. If anyone could give me some ideas on how i may get further with Edmund, i would be very grateful as i have gone quite a way back with the rest of my tree. Thanks Maxine.
