Yes, they were Catholic. I've been looking in Sonoran church records, but I haven't come across where to look for Arizona ones. I'm going to start looking for those tomorrow. Antonio Noriega's (b. 1897) parents were married in Tucson. I have their marriage record. Jesus and Concepcion were married September 1, 1896. I ordered it from Arizona state marriage records and it didn't mention any other person present. My grandparents (their son) doesn't either. In fact I was pretty disappointed because I paid a lot of money and the copy was very poor. Their record is for Jesus A. Norrega (misspelled) and Concepcion Castro. I also have a copy of the handwritten declaration of Intent for Jesus Noriega. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
