OK the Hunt and M.M could possible be Elijah and Mary. But the dois/davis one i dont think would fit, they would have married before 1886. So you found a Turner and Hunt....hmmm very well could be sara, which would mean she and calob were married. hmm.. ALot of the names are hard to read. Here are the last names i think i read, Kimberley, williamson, maddox, shaw. BTW i think I may have found a census from 1870 and 1860 that has queen and joseph( her father). See if you think they might be the same person. The census are from Troup, Georgia Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Are these things i can look up online or do i need to purchase them for clayton county? BTW- I just noticed on the 1910 Cesus there is an Elijah Hunt, on there above the turner family. Could he possibly be Elijas's son? Maybe he had a son and named him elijah? who knows....:) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Like you, I assume that Caleb is Elijah's brother (Elijah's wife was probably answering the census taker questions.) You could try researching Elijah since they probably had the same parents. Clayton County has marriage records back to 1859, so both Elijah's and Caleb's (if any) records should be available if they married their wives in Clayton County. Clayton County also has land, probate, and court records back to 1859. Elijah's land purchase (if he bought his farm land) might be in the records. If Caleb died in Clayton County there could be probate records. If Caleb fathered an illegitimate son, there might even be a court case or other records for that. And he either dissappeard or died, but according to the 1900 census, he was 4 years old when John and Queen(Sara) married. And im not sure if Queen and Calob were married or not.
