It would seem the Giacommo Narducci listed under the Napolitano family in the 1900 census might be her brother. Have you tried to make a connection between the two? If he was, his naturalization data should have specifics of origin. What does her marriage record say about her parents? You need to get the copy of it, I'm assuming these were all Catholics, there will also be a recording in the church register of the marriage, that will also list the parents. Author: BrianMartin629 Surnames: Henry Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.researchresources.brick-20-walls/416.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I had a search on the passengers lists on Ancestry for passengers named Henry, going from Ireland to Philadelphia before 1825. Here are the Henrys who came up... All these arrived at Philadelphia. James Henry, arrived 29 Aug 1817 on "Nestor" from Belfast. He was from Derry, and he was ship's crew. Jno Henry, arrived on same ship. He was aged 25, born abt 1792. And Ellen Henry, aged 60 was also on this ship. They all came from Morriecarry, Derry. Spencer Henry arrived 17 Aug 1816 on "Charlotte" from Londonderry. ....Henry [First name missing] b abt 1790. Abraham Henry arrived 19 Jul 1825 on "Emeline" from Newry. He was aged 25, born abt 1800. (He was crew - a seaman) Alexander Henry arrived 17 Jun 1815 from Liverpool on the Betsey. Robert Henry was on the same ship. Charly Henry arrived 23 May 1816 from Glasgow on the Alexander. Alexander Henry arrived 18 Jun 1812 from Newry on the Rising States. He was born abt 1791. Michael Henry arrived 9 Jul 1811 from Newry on the Rising States. He was born 1787. And Margaret Henry was on the same ship, born abt 1789. There were only a few others, dated further back in 1807 and 1808. If I were you, I would try census searches for the easiest names above like Spencer Henry, or Jno [who is the right marrying age], and possibly also try looking for Alexander. ...Are there any handed-down names in your Henry side of the family that are the same as any of the above christian names? 1. [BRICK-WALLS] Henrys in Pennsylvania
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: cdlb624 Surnames: Henry Classification: census Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.researchresources.brick-20-walls/416/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm trying to find out the parents of my 3x great-grandmother. From her son's DC, I know her name was Mary Henry. From census records for her son, I gather she was born in PA. In her own census records it says her father was born in Ireland and her mother was born in Germany. I figured they must've married here since they're from different countries but I can't find a marr. cert. if I don't know their names. So! What I've tried doing is going through the 1850 census looking for a man named Henry who was born in Ireland who has a wife who was born in Germany. I've had no luck. Mary was born in Abt 1825 so I've searched immigration records for male Henrys who came over from Ireland before that date and tried to trace them through 1850s census records but again - no luck. If I search earlier census records it won't list any of the info I need. I guess I could get some possible names from Henrys in 1840 who have a female in the household who would be Mary's age but again, I'd just have to try to track those men down in the 1850 to get his and his wife's BP. Is there some other source I could use that I've not thought of? I know there's the possibility that the census records could be wrong - stating, for ex. that they were born in PA instead of Ire/Ger or that Mary's parents weren't born in Ire/Ger. I've considered the possibility that maybe Mary's mother was actually born PA but was "Penn. Dutch" but that's just a wild theory. So, any ideas? Thanks for the help:-) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
