Author: eGENEee Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.researchresources.brick-20-walls/399.3/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Have you tried searching the Ellis Island database? If you use Steve Morse's site http://stevemorse.org/ellis2/ellisgold.html then you have lots of flexibility. You can search for first names which start with Mar (or Aug) with last names starting with Rad, for example. Doing this I found several possible men who may be your great grandfather.
