The wife of William Brewster was not Mary Wentworth. Mary Wentworth was disproved as wife of William Brewster in articles published in The American Genealogist, Mayflower Quarterly and New England Historical Genealogical Register. Try TAG: 41:1-5, 63; MQ 36:55-7 and NEHGR 124 250-4. This is also discussed in Mayflower Families in Progress: William Brewster of the Mayflower and His Descendants for Four generations, complied by Barbara Merrick (Second Edition), published by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, 1996. You could contact the Society at: 4 Winslow Street, Plymouth, MA 02360. Price was $8.00 plus $3.00 shipping last I checked. The wife of William Brewster should simply be shown us Mary ______. Best of luck, Henry Sutliff
