Many of the Brevard Lived there. I also think that they did not move far from were some of them were in-slaved. I think they were slaves of Keziah Q. Brevard plantation before the civil war. I think two of the slaves that were named in the property Ledgers were her siblings. They were the only slaves given the last/any last name in the Brevard Ledgers. But I am still doing research. Also some of my relatives live on Kings Mountain.
