I don't post here too often as I have not been able to prove that my ancestors were Brethren but I suspect that some were. I also know that they were following the iron ore furnace work from the 1820's or so onward. They were in the northern Shenandoah Valley in the early 1800's. Eventually coming into Monongalia Co along the Cheat River. Do any of you know much about others who were in this area, who were doing the same? Thank you Christine in NE Ohio
