Hello, I am seeking ANY primary source document or authentic family record that would support a second spouse of Samuel W Montgomery of Franklin County, born about 1779 in VIRGINIA, and married to Elizabeth Bowman on 30 September 1805 at Franklin County, Virginia. I am not interested in what previously published accounts have had to say about this second spouse, as I have determined they are of nothing more than the purest fantasy and have a single undocumented first “resource" dated 1934 which is completely unsourced and lacks any primary source citations. I have a Samuel L. Montgomery born 5/14/1840 Randolph County West Virginia Married Eliza Wolfe. Samuel's father was Price Montgomery b. 1817.
