Bob, I have worked on the Peter Becker, alias Baker, who lived in and was possibly an owner of Liberty in Jefferson township, Montgomery county, Ohio. He hailed from Morrison's Cove, Bedford county, Pennsylvania, and before that Franklin county, Pennsylvania. And yes, he is part of the difficult to research Brethren Peter Becker family of Franklin county, Pennsylvania. I was finally able to deduce that a small estate on file in Bedford county, Pennsylvania, actually only a horse and a saddle, that alludes that a Peter Becker having died in Stark county, Ohio, was actually Peter Becker who died in Montgomery county in about 1818. His widow would then marry Solomon Sanford and move to Indiana if memory serves me correctly and become Christian Church. One of her sons by Peter would become a minister in that church. It might have been a grandson. Of course I cannot now locate all the research notes I compiled with the assistance of Gale Honeyman. I do recall that there were some surprises within Peter's estate that amazed even him. Some of this family moved to Indiana and one or two moved to the northern parts of Montgomery county and, I believe, into Miami county. I have Peter's estate images in my computer partly processed. It is an extremely large estate and very convoluted which is why the processing languishes. He was German Baptist. Cordially, A. Do they all trace back to John Becker or are there multiple lines? If the latter, have any work been done that would indicate a relationship to John prior to his move to Ohio? Bob Harter
