    2. Thank you, Merle, for the additional info!! I will look into Nicholas Martin and who knows maybe I'll find the answer. For DAR purposes, some people have claimed that Elizabeth was the dau. of Salathiel Martin. However the family Bible states his dau. Elizabeth was born in 17?? (torn or smudged) and she is listed between siblings b. 1785 and 1789. That would lead me to believe that Elizabeth was b. 1789. Also the month is not the same as on my Elizabeth's tombstone. When I discovered that Sears family was usually near a Dunkard church, I thought possibly Daniel m. the dau. of an Elder of the church or a member of the church. I really appreciate you taking time to look into this for me. I'll keep looking and maybe one day I'll have the answer.
