Thank you for the info. At least now I know that David Martin could not be the father of my Elizabeth since he died in 1794 and she was born in 1795. I'll see what I can find with some of his children. Maybe my Elizabeth was the daughter of one of David's sons. I presume I would not be able to find any more info at the Brethren Heritage in Brookville? I live in Bowling Green, OH and have thought going to Brookville might be worthwhile.
