    3. I descend from Alexander Mack Sr. through Alexander (Sander) Mack Jr. and his first child William. The book "Alexander Mack the Tunker and Descendants" by Rev. Freeman Ankrum, states "The records of the Revolutionary War found in the Pennsylvania Archives mention the names of William and Alexander, likely a first cousin and son of John Mack, as serving from this section." ( Pennsylvania Archives Series 5, Vol. VI, page 117. Served July 28, 1781 - 1st Battalion of Cumberland Co., Militia under Capt. Daniel Clapsadler). QUESTION: Does anyone on this list have additional information that would confirm Ankrum's belief that the William Mack, who served in the Militia, was William Mack, the son of Alexander "Sander" Mack? Maxine Books Driscoll.......William Mack's daughter Elizabeth married John Holsinger, from a well respected Brethren family. William spent the last years of his life living with them. My line continues through John & Elizabeth Holsinger.
