    3. A primary method I am using in my research of the early Brethren Churches of Kentucky, is to follow the Brethren families, as they go to Kentucky, and as members of the family leave Kentucky in the moves west. I have collected the following data on these families. I would appreciate your review of this information, and any proven corrections you can provide. Than you Merle C Rummel ********************************* KERN Family viii Conrad Kern was a Brethren minister at Crane Creek, Salisbury NC, before and during the American Revolution. Several of his children followed the migration to Kentucky. His son Adam and family became leaders in the Revival, and went with the Disciples of Christ in Indiana.
