    3. Not sure if you are talking the same family, but Henry Eller of the Beaverdam Congregation, was a friend of Daniel Seiler. Both are also listed in the Conestoga Congregation, both lived near each other in present day Lebanon County, and appear to have moved to Maryland about the same time. The Seiler family was likely Amish or Mennonite prior to becoming Brethren. Have nothing else on the Eller family beside's this short bio. Can anyone document that Conrad Eiler was Brethren other than the fact that he was on the ship? (Incidentally, I have not seen John S. Eiler's work other than his Eiler entry in the Brethren Encyclopedia, but I would be surprised if he didn't get the idea that Conrad Eiler was Brethren from Martin Grove Brumbaugh (1899) who assumed that all Ship Allen passengers were Brethren.) There are indeed Brethren Eilers but are they descendants of Conrad Eiler? If so, what is the evidence? If not, who was the first Brethren Eiler?
