A primary method I am using in my research of the early Brethren Churches of Kentucky, is to follow the Brethren families, as they go to Kentucky, and as members of the family leave Kentucky in the moves west. Two of his sons, George and Samuel, moved to Muhlenberg Co KY. Samuel Danner, a grandson, was an earliest Brethren minister in Muhlenberg Co, George Donner, another grandson, is infamous for the Donner party, which died in the migration to California.
