Merle: The Abraham Hochstetler you list below is HS-61 per AAMG. He is the son of Christian Hochstetler, and grandson of Jacob Hochstetler, the Amish immigrant and survivor of the famous Hochstetler Indian massacre of 1757. Christian and his father were taken prisoner for some period of time. Merle, I have a question, which pertains to several of your Kentucky family listings. What is the place name following the spouse name designate? At first glance it appeared this may have been where they were married but it seems doubtful that marriages occurred in IA, IN, even Ohio much before 1800 or 1805 or later. Is this the place of spouse death?
