    3. According to the Brethren Encyclopedia, the Eiler family was not the same as the Eller family. Alternative spellings of Eiler include Oyler and Iller. 3. >From Emmert Bittinger I have noted the messages recently sent regarding the Eiler family. I am in the process of breaking up my family history collection. I am in posession of Dr. John S. Eilers large Genealogical History of the Eiler, Eilar, Eyler, Iler, Oyler and Associated Families published in l973. It is hard bound and consists of nearly 350 pages. If anyone is willing, they may purchase it for the best offer above the cost of my investment in it plus postage, which is approximately $50.00. I am not sure if this is a ligitimate item to place on the Brethren roots web, but if not the web master may remove it.
