    3. Jim was a member of our Brethren-list and although in poor health, kept up with his genealogical interest nearly too the end. His last query was submitted just two days before his passing. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Brethren Heritage Center, he used his business experience in advertising to create two brochures promoting the Center. In addition, he created a spreadsheet to keep tract of the 'Friends' of the Center which was constantly being updated and used in sending the Center's quarterly publication, Recorder. His creative mind kept clicking with ideas for the betterment of the Center. And yes, we board members enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor.
