    1. [BRE] Brethren on the Ship Allen (1729)

    3. I have just completed a 20-page research report titled "Brethren on the Ship Allen (1729)." My research concludes that there were only nineteen Brethren families (by surname) on the Allen. These families lived in Surhuisterveen (in Holland) prior to following Alexander Mack to the new world. The report is a new, improved, and expanded version of the booklet that I passed out in Richmond at the FOBG meeting on July 12. The nineteen family names of those who came with Alexander Mack on the Ship Allen are the following: MACK, KALCKGLOESER, SCHNEIDER, KIPPING, KOCH, KROPF, BONI, BENDER, KNEPPER, BOSSERT, GUNDE, LESLE, WEISS, FLICKINGER, MARTIN, LIPKIP, PETTIKOFFER, BECKER, and SLAUGHTER. The list of names is much shorter than I had imagined when I started my research. The main purpose of this message is that I would like to share my report, published in booklet form, at no cost, with anyone who is interested in the subject. All I require is a letter expressing your interest with your mailing address and some postage stamps (probably four or five 42-cent stamps would do it) so that I can mail my 20-page report in a 9" x 12" envelope to you. You can reach me at 85 Lee Hook Road, Lee, NH 03861. Please don't ask me to send the report electronically. Also, please address any questions to me directly at dwayne55@comcast.net. Thanks, Dwayne Wrightsman
