    3. Thanks for the science and history lesson - as a teacher in both, I am very interested - I was aware of the family as coming with Alexander Mack in 1729 - but I am interested also in their descendants David William Colglazier (1768-1855), son of John and Mary Colglazier, was married in 1788 to Cynthia Christina May, marriage in Westmoreland Co PA. In 1790 (couple years later) he moved to the mouth of Big Indian Creek, on the Ohio River, at modern Point Pleasant, Clermont County OH -a first resident there, and one of the earliest persons living on the north of the Ohio River. His first child (John) was born that year. In 1803, he moved to Washington Co IN, most probably then still a part of the Clark Grant (to George Rogers Clark and his frontiersmen) (now Clark Co IN). His son Jacob was born that year. This is on the Blue River, and the vicinity of the Blue River Baptist Association of John Wright. About 1820. John Wright, a minister, very likely Brethren, and his kin were from the Uwharrie, in North Carolina. The Wrights were leaders in the Great Revival, and prominent in the formation of the Disciples of Christ Denomination. They were instrumental in the migration of the local Brethren Churches into the Brethren Association, and on into the Revival, and thus, the action of Annual Meeting against these Frontier Brethren, which resulted in the loss of all the some 25 Brethren congregational groups scattered across Kentucky and the Ohio Valley. How much was David Colglazier involved? I am interested in knowing more of the Kalkloser/Colglazier family, especially to its descendant: David William Colglazier and his family.
