I am seeking an Ester Neff. The only information I have about her is that she married Daniel Gans. Daniel was born ca. 1780 (I have an unverified source that says Nov. 1780) and lived in Fayette Co, PA. (Two of his children were born there) Daniel died in 1865 in Hamilton Co, Ohio. I have the following information from a will source: Will filed in Probate Court, Hamilton County, Ohio 1791 - 1901 Volume 1 A-K Compiled by Lois E Highes Prepared by Archives and Rare Books Dept University Libaries, University of Cincinnati 513.556.1959 for copy Page 171 Gans, Daniel Box 18, Case No 9814 - Green Twp Filed 11/18/1865 Executors Garret Lane and Joseph Gans Beneficiaries: Susan King, John Gans, Catherine Gio, Hannah Lane, Harriet Gans, Louis Gans, William Gans, Caroline Moore, Joseph Gans The women are all daughters. My information that his wife's name was Neff comes from Beryl Modest Berchinal's book on the Gans-Ganss Family. I do not know how long Daniel lived in Fayette Co, nor when he moved to Ohio. I do know that his father , George, is at least in one instance identified as Brethren, and that his son William was married twice, once to Melinda Harris in Indiana, who died young, and then to a woman named Anna. William became a Disciple (Cambellite) minister and died in Kansas in 1885.
