Adam Stump Died May 16, 1896 Aged 78 Y. 2 M. 13 D. This translates to a birth date of 3 Mar 1818, which is the date listed in the family bible and in "Alexander Mack the Tunker and Descendants" -- Rev. Freeman Ankrum (1943). ************* This means that I need better information on Adam Stump (admitted, this is not my direct line) - but is a collateral line here in Northern Indiana. My information gave an unidentified first wife for Benjamin - but this date gives conflict to his sister, Catherine (born 28 Oct 1818, York Co PA) and places him as a son of the former "second" wife - Anna Spatz. (Adam and Catherine married brother and sister - Samuel and Lydia Longenecker) Also, I am interested in the connection to Alexander Mack. Both of this line, and that of the minister, Francis Stump, who died in Muhlenberg Co KY. (I'm aware of Freeman Ankrum, but not of this book.) Merle C Rummel
