    1. Re: [BRE] New and seeking help with surname ZEIGLER/ZIEGLER in book

    3. Hello, Thank you for all your help. I went back and found where I had located the information about Leonard moving to Adams Co. and it was not in Mason's book. There is another Ziegler book by *Jesse Ziegler called "The Ziegler family record : a complete record of the Ziegler family from our ancestor, Philip Ziegler, born in Bern, Switzerland, in 1734, down to the seventh and eighth generations : including also those who are directly descended from the family as far as data could be obtained* Royersford, Pa.: J. Ziegler, 1906, 118 pgs." This is the book where I found the information on Leonard Ziegler moving to Adams County (Pg. 11). It follows all his children. Seems to be more thorough than the Mason book perhaps. But there is nothing in this book either on my Martin Ziegler!! I can't find him anywhere! I was tracking Leonard in hopes he might lead me to my Martin since there is a Leonard in the 1807 Latimore Twp, Adams Co, tax list with my Martin. So far, no luck in connecting them or finding my Martin before 1807. I guess if my Martin is not in either of the books, then his children won't be in there either so I can't think of anything else to search for in them. I appreciate you offer to help.
