    3. David, I don't know if I responded to your comment or not. If I did not then please accept my apologies with the only one to offer, that I hope you will be accepting of, is that I have been extremely busy. If I did comment then please disregard this e-mail. Your comment about there actually having been a tombstone for Catharine 'Ziegler' Dedaker, daughter of Jacob and Sarah 'Mack' Ziegler, is of great interest but raises a question. Why then does her son have a last name of Davis? I have an article from the turn of the 20th Century that is very, very illuminating about the Germantown congregation. Within it her son is mentioned many times as having the last name of Davis. This is confirmed by several census records as well. I did copy the entirety of the article for my records but can not understand its non-inclusion in other published materials on the Germantown congregation. The congregation of Germantown owes Mr. Davis a debt of gratitude for what he did! He is buried there but I doubt there is a tombstone for him. An odd burial! Wayne Webb -----Original Message----- Wayne, I was just getting ready to do some research on that family, so I'm interested in the situation that you describe. The LDS Church filmed a book that has transcriptions of the headstones of the Burial Ground of the Germantown Church of the Brethren. I made photocopies of some of the pages from the book, including the page that has Catharine Dedaker (1790-1858) on it. Do you think that there has been a transcription in the name listed in the cemetery? Or some other kind of mistake or error? Thanks David Myers
