The Gospel Messenger July 18, 1895 page 462 Vol. BOWMAN. – In the Prairie View Congregation, Morgan Co., Mo., June 23, 1895, Fannie Belle, youngest daughter of Eld. David and Susan Bowman, aged 14years and 2 days. Little Fannie was very peculiarly afflicted. Early in the winter an abscess formed on her brain and since that time she had been afflicted with paralysis. The funeral discourse was delivered by Bro. Josiah Lehman, assisted by Bro. W. W. Holsopple and Daniel Kauffman, of the Mennonite church. Text, I Cor. 13: 12. Interment in the Prairie View cemetery. A crowded house of sympathizing friends witnessed the last sad rites. John Daniel Bowman born Sept __ 1874 Fannie Bell Bowman born June 21, 1881 Deaths: John Daniel Bowman died Sept. 1875. Sarah Elizabeth Bowman Martin died Aug 4th, 1891. Fannie Bell Bowman died June 23, 1895. This list was found among miscellaneous papers associated with the Mineral Creek/Leeton German Baptist Brethren church located just outside of Leeton, Johnson County, Missouri, organized 1869. The handwritten list was on a letterhead with address of North Manchester, Indiana, no dates.
