My Miller ancestors were hardshell Primitive baptists. They were baptized in Montgomery County Indiana in the 1820s, on Sugar Creek. In 1834 they formed the Edwards River Congregation in Mercer County, Illinois, and in 1847 went to Oregon en mass, after disbanding that congregation and joined the Little Bethel Church of Primitive (hardshell) Baptists in Albany Oregon.
