Just thought that I would let people on the list know that the LDS people have a website that has a searchable index for many original records, including marriage records for Montgomery Co., OH. Here is the URL. FamilySearch Record Search (use IE) http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html It's better to use Internet Explorer when using the site, rather than FireFox, etc. I believe that it's a Java-related issue but I'm not 100% certain about that. The website is a pilot project, and will be folded into their regular database as time goes on. Some records already have migrated out of the pilot project site and are not available there, so it's best to also check the beta version of the Familysearch.org site, using the "Try it out" button at the top of the web page. There are an amazing number of records on the site, and it has been a big help in my research. The search engine can be a little finicky, but that would be one of the few reservations that I have. I hadn't mentioned this site before because I had assumed that folks on the list would know about it since the LDS people are well-known in the genealogy community, but it may be that fewer people know about this new project than what I had assumed.
