He was a farmer and lived near Bridgewater, VA, later moved to Shenandoah Co, VA after his 2nd marriage and died there. The only information known about Martin is that he was born 1780 "near Moore's Store", Rockingham Co., VA. Martin and wife Esther were married 3-3-1803 by Elder Benjamin Bowman. Esther Bowman was born 3-31-1783, daughter of Joseph and Esther (Becktol) Bowman. The children of Martin Miller and Esther Bowman were Magdalene, Elizabeth, Esther, Jacob, Susan, Samuel, Daniel, John M. and Joseph. My ancestry line is through daughter Elizabeth ("Betsy"), married to John Early, b. 1803, son of Jacob and Magdalene (Wenger) Early of Harrisonburg, Rockingham Co., VA. I have been uable to identify the family lines of Martin Miller and Esther Bowman, and would appreciate any information sent.
