Judy, It was David wise, son of Adam Wise, Jr. Three of his sons, Adam, David and John, became ministers in the Brethren Church, and if I remember correctly all became Church of the Brethren when that split happened. In my notes I have that two of his grandsons were also. I also know that in my children's generation there is one Methodist minister, a son of my older brother. Probably a lot of them out there. I have a lot of other information on this family if you write me privately I can attach it. However getting it together will take some time, I am planning on a visit from my great grandbabies over the 4th. A 20 month old and twins 5 months old. We will be busy.
