This "Persecution" seems to be a problem with most of the Breedlove lines. My husbands ancestors were known to be "Hush-Hush". For a while we thought a Native American descent to be blame. However, After reading some of Elisha Breedlove's deposition in the "Mellungeon Trial" , We are finding this may not be true, although the Native American was only an assumption.
