Accidently I sent only part of it. My flying fingers got out of control. So here goes again: 1. John Parr Sr in Halifax Co., Va in 1752,1753,1755 & 1756 2. In 1756 was in vestry of Antrim Parish 3. He was named as a "processioner," one who walked boundaries of landholdings in a given area to make sure boundaries were not in despute between adjoining landowners. 4. 10 August 1759 had land grant of 400 A on both sides of south fork of Mayo River 5. 1760 registered his stock ear mark and brand of horses 6. 1767 Pittsylvania Co., Va formed from Halifax 7. 16 Feb 1771 received alnd grant of 676 A on both sides of Whitehead's Creek 8. 7 Dec 1774 received land grant on 166 A on both sides of Russell Creek 9. 1777 Henry Co., Va formed from Pittsylvania 10. Furnished 1000 lbs of beef during Rev. War 11. Brothers of John Parr SR were a. William Parr d 1787 Caswell Co., NC b. Henry Parr Will Bk 1 p 156 Patrick Co. Va Sources: 1.
