Hi, I can't help you with Breedloves in Indiana, but I am descended from Cindarilla Breedlove and Thomas Lowry, who both died in Missouri (Laclede County) with a very short time from each other IN 1858. Was there an epidemic or something in 1858 in Missouri? Does anybody know? My Breedloves came from VA through KY too. Carole --[ ORIGINAL MESSAGE ]----------------- Finally we have another Indiana Breedlove on this web,for a while I thought I was the only one researching them. I appear to share a very similar ancestry with Brad and Konni, somehow missed James's e-mail so don't know his family. Have lots of information back to four brothers, John, James, William and Henry and their two sisters Elizabeth (later married a Hanley) and Lucinda who came together from VA about 1830 by way of Louisville Ky, where they crossed the Ohio river and landed at New Albany, lndiana,Wm. and Henry were full brothers, John and James their half brothers and Eliza and L:ucinda half sisters, there were other children in their family. They were with a group who disbursed and the 4 brothers and 2 sisters proceeaded on to Brown County where James and John settled, Henry ;on to Boone County eventually. William supposedly left during the gold rush for California but died along the way about 1858 (either that is year he left or year he died) they think he died in Missouri. If any of this is familier to anyone please write me perhaps we can fill in blanks for each other. Sincerely, Beth Breedlove Porter
