    2. MS CAROLE L COLQUEHOUN
    3. Tom, In answer to your question, no, I don't know anything about that family. If they are relatives, I wouldn't know it. Aside from my genealogy research, my family has been out of touch with most living relatives for a long time. I found this is obit. EXTREMELY interesting, though, because my paternal greatgrandfather (supposedly named John B. Calhoun) married a STUMP -- Jane Stump -- in Iowa. That's all I know about it, actually. The reason that I am not sure about his name is because I have not been able to find any record of a John B. Calhoun in Iowa during that time, and there is some doubt in the family that my grandfather was telling the truth about his name. I'll probably never live long enough to clear up that mysterious side of the family. My grandfather was a dark man (in the metaphysical sense). He left Iowa in a hurry, sometime just after the turn of the century (my father was born in 1914), and went to live in the Ozarks of Missouri. The story goes that, in Iowa, he shot three brothers (who were trying to kill him because he had seduced their sister) and then ran for his life. He then married into the line that I am now researching. Carole --[ ORIGINAL MESSAGE ]----------------- Does anybody know who this is? I found it surfing around.
