Hello, everyone. My name is Richard Allen Breedlove. My father's name was Arthur Mack Breedlove. His father was Oather Breedlove. His Father was Allen Breedlove. I just confirmed by way of a civil war army pension file from the National Archives that his father was William Breedlove and his mother was either Eliza or Louisa Galbreath. I had previously seen a record of a William Breedlove marrying a Louisa Galbreath in Effingham County, Illinois on May 31, 1876. There was a copy of that marriage certificate in the pension file. Also in the pension file there is a document which contains a physical description of William which ends by saying that he was born in Ross, Ohio. There is a town by that name in Butler County near Cincinnati there is also a county with that name farther east. I don't know which one they mean. There are also papers which say he died in Effingham, Illinois in 1878. Does anybody know anything about this William Breedlove. Any information you can come up with would be greatly appreciated.
