Amerson and McDonald are the families I am working with. They are known to be in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. We feel that we are connected with the Breedloves in some way. Some of the Family have Breedlove as their second name. We have a John G Amerson that Married Nancy Breeding in the 1850's They are shown on the 1860 census in Marion, Alabama. They have two young boys one John Breedlove Amerson and Benjamin G Amerson. In 1865 both boys are under the guardianship of Amos Young Amerson brother of John G Amerson and mother Elizabeth McDonald Amerson. Elizabeth is 1/2 Cherokee. The Amersons are known to be in many counties in NORTHERN ALABAMA The Breedloves may also be connected with the Byers and the Baker families in Alabama and Arkansas.
