Tom, Sure sounds interesting. It's the right birth date. Once I get moved and have some time to look into it, I will go down to Norwalk and look into the basement files for the death certificate. The names on the death certificate may give us some clues as to who that Breedlove was. I found the letter shortly after I started doing genealogy --- maybe 1994. The paper looks like it had been in my grandmother's belongings for a while; though, I don't know if it could have been there since 1949; that would have been over thirty years. Of course, it is possible. I have some of the letters that my maternal grandmother sent me over thirty years ago, and they don't appear to be thirty years old. Anyway, I will go down to Norwalk and get a copy of the death certificate when I get a chance, and I'll share it with the list. Anyone who is interested in this, remind me in a couple of months, if I haven't done it yet. The move and trying to find a place to live might make me forget. :-) Carole Colquehoun ----- Original Message ----- From: tomking <tomking@freewwweb.com> To: Carole L.
