What I had thought was a mention of Abraham in the will or probate of Madison in Albemarle Co., VA in 1810 was misread and should be Absolom W. Breedlove who came here to Texas and was at the Battle of San Jacinto. A more likely candidate for Abraham's parents are Charles and Theodosia Clevenger Breedlove who lived most of their lives in Frederick Co., VA where Abraham married his his first wive Hannah Stokes in 1819. Abraham was born in 1800 and the 1810 census of Frederick shows Charles with one son under five and another 5-10. This older son is not on the 1820 Frederick Co. census for Charles, probably as he (Abraham) is now married. Abraham does show up on the 1830 census in Frederick but not Charles who I presume has died by this time. Does anyone have any definite proof of Abraham's parents?
