Hi Georgia, I was interested in your Scott family which was posted in the Breedlove page. I have Nancy Scott (b. 1769) md. John Thornton ca. 1794; they had 10 children. Does this tie in with your Scott family in any way? I notice some of the children had Thornton in their names, and thought we might connect. We "think" Nancy's father was Walter Scott (b. ca. 1745 Eng.) and lived and traded with the Cherokee's. Can you help? Thanks, Dorothy dottur@ptsi.net
