Marriage Register, 1805-1867, pg 45 6 Sept 1830, license granted to John W. Trower to marry Jane Breedlove, m 7 Sept 1830 by John Goss Minister. Comment: Genealogical accounts state the marriage bond of John W. Trower to Jane Breedlove gives her parent as Cornelius Breedlove. Altho we have the above marriage register at the VA State library we do not have a list of marriage bonds after 1806. These bonds are still in the custody of the clerk of court of Albemarle Co at Charlottesville, VA and it is suggested to client that she write said clerk for certified copy of the specific bond and to give him the info indicated above and her reason for wishing same. If this record does not have the proof she desires client should attempt to secure a copy of the Death certificate of jane Breedlove Trower who d 1874 Shelbyville, Illinois or a cemetery (burial) record or a newspaper obituary. any and/or all of these should give the names of her parents and other important info. That is the end of that research material. Ellen, dande@mail.tds.net
