Tom King, Thanks for the reply. Dot Avery and I are 1st cousins, Johnie Clyde an uncle. Both Dot and I were at the funeral. Knowing Dot, I can believe you've been in contact with her, as have others in the list. Sorry, I don't know of any genealogical software with date frequency regression. I'd like to see this myself, and not just for birth dates. Death dates, marriage dates, and others, would surely be handy for searching obits, wills, and other sources.
