Tom, Good to learn about the book, "Eastern Cherokee Court of Claims, Guion Miller Roll". Regarding,"Bill's message implies that their were no Breedlove's on the Eastern Cherokee Roll so I would assume that none of these applications were accepted, though I would expect that Mary Eiffert Breedlove was on the roll." Of course I was referring to "Cherokee Roots, Vol !" as my source. I suppose some later edition or some other book such as the one you have revealed might list some of the later successful applications. As far as I know, John Washington Breedlove, for example, whose enrollment number is either 167 or 467, first stricken in 1902, reinstated in 1907, is not listed in the rolls we most likely access. I have not tried to access subsequent enrollees. Regarding Mary Eiffert Breedlove, Carrie W. Breedlove (wife of John Washington Breedlove) in a handwritten letter to Grant Foreman, Oklahoma Historian, essentially writes her autobiography entitled, "Brief History of Carrie Walton Bruton Breedlove." Carrie writes regarding (James) Willoughby, "His wife was Mary Batie Eiffort of Ft. Gibson, daughter of Henry and Susan Eiffort, universally nicknamed 'Rover'. They had 3 sons. The oldest Walton Willoughby (vs Willoughby W. on the Dawes Roll), .....Jack Thompson ..... Curtis Bill (vs William Curtis on the Dawes Roll)". James W(illoughby's) (Dawes #28180) wife must be Mary B(atie Eiffort) (Miller #5730) and children are Willoughby W. (Miller #5731), Jack Thompson (Miller #5732), and William Curtis (Miller #5733), if numbering sequence logic can apply to already known genealogy. Does this make sense? Bill Breedlove
