The date of the marriage of Anderson S. Breedlove and Mary Octavia (McCoy) Breedlove was April 5th, 1884. Andrew Richard went by the name of nickname of Dick. He died April 1, 1953 and is butied in Sheldon Cemetary, Sheldon, Missouri. (I have the "receipt" from Beeny Funeral Home). Arta Luna changed her name to Launa Mary. She died December 10, 1979 and is buried in Odd Fellow Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri. Sherman Hosie Breedlove died July 8, 1974. His wifes Obit. (Nellie Jessie Breedlove) lists her place of internment as Canon City, Colorado. I'm sure he was buried there too. I have an interesting article that someone clipped and saved and I put in my book that referres to several Breedlove deaths in a short amount of time. It is dated November 19, (1918) which was about the time of the great flu epidemic around World War I. Anderson and Mary spent quite a few years, and many of their children were born in Stotts City, Mo. The article reads: Webb City, Mo., Nov 19. With the death of Robert Breedlove, 26 years old, which occurred this morning at his home north of the city near the Bertha A mine, the Breedlove family has lost by death the fourth member within a week. Hershal Breedlove, a brother, died Sunday and his body was shipped to Stotts City for burial this morning. A Week ago a brother, Mario Breedlove and the next day a brother-in-law died. All of the deaths were due to infulensa as pneumonia followng influensa. Breedlove is survived by his wife Mrs. Delia Breedlove and his parents. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Carterville cemetery.
