I had written recently to my cousin Wayne Breedlove who lives in FL, and who has the Civil War diary written by John W. Breedlove from 1862 to 1864. In it, he said that on one of the pages was listed the name Elisha WATTS and that he died 24 July 1864. Another name on the page was Burgess. Now, this could just be coincidence, or could be some sort of relative. JWB does list some family names in the diary too, like and Uncle Estes he had gone to see. I looked in my files for the Breedlove family and there was a Mary Dawson who was married to a Henry Estes. I then looked a little further in this same family group and there was and Elizabeth Dawson married to a Rumsy Watts. I know this doesn't really mean anything, but I wanted to throw it out there and will include the family group at the end of this to show what I have and the dates. Could this Elisha Watts be named for Elizabeth's grandfather, Elisah Bailey, a RW soldier in Adair co., KY? Maybe....
