I suspect he may be the son of one of Benjamin W. and Mary Watkins Breedlove male offspring besides my Benjamin - John, Thomas, Nathan or ???. If no one else out there knows, then perhaps Tom King will have him in his database when he gets back Online with us. A John Watkins Breedlove is my line - this one was b 1803 in SC and d 1878 in NC. He m Sarah Nesbitt in 1823 (we do not know who Sarah's parents are at this point in time - if anyone out there does, would sure love the info!!). He was the son of Benjamin Watkins Breedlove, b abt 1762 in VA d 1804 in SC. Benjamin married Lettice "Letty" Edwards, d/o Charles Edwards and Letty Martin of Halifax Co VA. John was their only issue. Benjamin W. Breedlove's father was Benjamin W. Breedlove Sr., b abt 1741 prob. in VA and d 1793 in GA. He m in 1759, Mary Watkins, d/o William Watkins and Martha Herndon. Nathaniel is not a name that appears in my records in my direct line but may in one of the other sons who settled in that SC/GA area. Does anyone have a list of all JOHN WATKINS BREEDLOVES with their dates and places of residence? - this appears to have been a very popular name in the family and they are beginning to be difficult to sort out!
